Davy and Stu, based on the award-winning play of the same name by playwright Anton Dudley, is a subtle, beautiful love story in which two teenage boys meet every day at dusk on the edge of a Scottish bog and search for ways to express their forbidden love. I tried to illustrate the difference between these two boys in their clothes: Stu is a jock, a rugby player just come from practice, with dirt from the game still on him, while Davy has a quiet vulnerability -- he is younger and more awkward in his adolescent body and wears oversized clothes in an attempt to disguise his unease.
